FAQs

Reopening February 28th

What is an Aerial Adventure Park? An Aerial Adventure Park is a series of elements or obstacles above the ground. For those who are more adventurous, the higher routes are increasingly more difficult. In other words, the higher you go, the harder the challenge.

What is a Zip Line/Canopy Tour? Our Zip Lines will have you soaring above the ground for a bird’s eye view of the Radical Ropes Adventure Park. This guided tour will provide thrilling zips with varied lengths through our forest canopy.

What is the Leap of Faith? We’ll harness you up, lead you to the top of the tower, and hook you up to the Leap of Faith. The rest is up to you! Step off the platform and experience a quick descent of over 65 feet straight to the ground. The belay system will gently slow you down as you get closer to the ground.

What is the Climbing Wall? Our climbing wall is 70 feet tall complete with hand holds you can grab to propel yourself to the top. The wall is equipped with 2 auto belay systems that will keep you safe while you race to the top.

What is KidCourse? Kids Course is uniquely designed for kids 4 to 10 years in age. It includes zip lines and obstacles that will captivate children of all skill levels. Kids Course is a self-guided tour with assistance from our staff. An adult is required to accompany the child, not ride. This is a great option for our future adventurers who are not quite ready for the big zip, but who still want to have an amazing zip line experience. Each child is able to traverse this course 3 times and this experience lasts around 30 minutes.

Are reservations required? We highly encourage reservations.  Our online reservation system is user friendly and easy to navigate. Making reservations in advance will shorten your check-in time so you can get on with your adventure.  Walk-ins are on a first-come first-serve basis.  Guests with reservations will be given priority.

Can I do all activities for a value price?  Yes!  That is what we call our All-Access Pass.  You get one extreme zip line tour, one aerial park ticket, and the Climbing Wall and Leap of Faith.  The price for an adult (18+) is $89 and youth (10-17) is $79. Allow for 4-5 hours to complete all activities.

Do I need to sign a waiver? Yes. If making reservations online,.  For all participants under the age of 18, we must have a parent/guardian signature on the waiver. If your parent/guardian will not be at the park to sign, you MUST print out a copy in advance, have them sign it, and bring a photocopy of their driver license so that Radical Ropes can verify the signature.

What is the time and duration of the activities?  The zipline tour will take around 1.5 hours.  The aerial adventure park ticket lasts 2.5 hours.  Both of these activities include a short ground school to ensure all Guests are comfortable with operating the gear.  The KidZips ticket will last 30-45 minutes with a short ground school.  The Climbing Wall and Leap of Faith ticket lasts 30-45 minutes.

Do I need to arrive early? Yes. We ask that all guests arrive at least 15 minutes before their scheduled adventure.

Do I need to be in good physical condition? The Zipline tour requires less effort. You will climb stairs to access the course. The Aerial Adventure Park has something for all levels. You may increase the intensity of the activity by going higher after you have mastered the challenges at one level.

What do I wear? Generally speaking, dress for the weather. Longer shorts and t-shirts will prevent the harness from rubbing against your skin. You must have closed-toed and closed-heeled shoes to participate. Absolutely no flip-flops or Croc-style footwear will be allowed on the Zipline,  Aerial Adventure Park, Climbing Wall or Leap of Faith (Appropriate shoes and socks will be available to rent in case you forget.)

Can I take my camera or phone on the course? No, we don’t allow anything in your pockets.  Photo packages will be available for purchase. Inquire about these at check-in. Please leave all valuables in your car. Car keys may be left in a secure spot behind the check-in desk.
